The models of the residents changed significantly from the original concepts (see Early Development post.) The models went through 3 stages of iteration. To animate these characters, I used Mixamo as this would save me time instead of rigging and animating them myself.
The first iteration was blobby and not deforming correctly when animated.
The second iteration was a lot better and was deforming so much more nicely than the previous model. However, I felt like the head looked too big, almost like a comical mask.
After altering the shape of the head, my character was complete.
